              @rajitsingh Have you considered using Friendica? It lets you connect to several social networks incl. Facebook AFAIK.

                I'm not having any problems with fb, and I'm not even a very active user TBH. Just pointing out one of the hurdles in switching n/ws.

          @rootbrian ...follow you then it means they weren't worth to keep in contact with. I did sth like this a couple of years ago & it works ;-)

          @rootbrian my family also uses #, I don't. This means that we call each other to know how we are. And they read my blog and look at my flickr photos to see the irrelevant stuff...

      @rootbrian my guess is that facebook is disallowing access. FB doesn't want you talking to members from outside their box.

          @rootbrian when post to facebook it gives you choice status, photo &tc... in last year choice of "link" removed ... still can, discouraged
