Can't, family uses it, they don't know what diaspora is either and don't intend to join multiple social networks. :/

rajitsinghI use facebook to stay in touch with some really old friends and people that I haven't seen in years. Around 200 of them.

kudlaty@rajitsingh Have you considered using Friendica? It lets you connect to several social networks incl. Facebook AFAIK.

I'm not having any problems with fb, and I'm not even a very active user TBH. Just pointing out one of the hurdles in switching n/ws.

@rootbrian ...follow you then it means they weren't worth to keep in contact with. I did sth like this a couple of years ago & it works ;-)
laurelrusswurm@rootbrian my guess is that facebook is disallowing access. FB doesn't want you talking to members from outside their box.
