@rootbrian are you not part of the identi.ca Moderators? If not, I'd personally vouch for you to become one (/cc @evan). !spamreport
@evan, what do you think about http://identi.ca/creativityquotes? even though it might not be very original, I would vote for #ham. hes/she asked in the forum to be unsilenced: http://forum.status.net/discussion/2194/ !spamreport
@lnxwalt140 @sethf @ddevine @kevie The answers are not conclusive. In the spirit of 'in dubio pro reo', I've unsilenced the account !spamreport
would like to ask the members of !spamreport what they think about http://identi.ca/backgroundchecks. he asked to be #unsilenced in the forums: http://is.gd/pZ57Wx
would like to know what fellow members of !spamreport think of http://identi.ca/rastavibes The holder of this account complained about the silencing, since he 'uses identica to promote reggae'. should we unsilence this account, or keep it #silenced?
would like to know who #silenced http://identi.ca/emegeve doesn't seem like a spammer to me. He asked in the #statusnet forum to be unsilenced, which I just did. !spamreport
i just #silenced user jakiokala for group-spamming !spamreport
would like to ask who's #silenced http://identi.ca/consebt, doesn't really seem spammy to me. And the user complained in the #statusnet forum. !spamreport
@ratfink is user snmpve really link spamming? looks like news to me (of debatable relevance, but not spam). !spamreport
@ratfink i don't think that user fishtron can be considered a spammer. which links do you consider spam? !spamreport
@zuargo silenced minibook and richardsng, thanks for reporting them to !spamreport
would like to ask fellow members of !spamreport what they think of user wallpapers4desktop (ID 618632). He complained in the forum that hes silenced. I think rightfully, what do you think?
dear members of !spamreport. could someone monitor http://forum.status.net/discussion/comment/9341 and http://forum.status.net/discussion/1505/not-allowed-to-log-in#Item_131 for the next three weeks. I'll be offline and this seems to be the current hoot for people to come when they are blocked...
about 3 months ago from webdear members of !spamreport and !moderators, what do you think of http://forum.status.net/discussion/comment/9332#Comment_9332, user seohouston? I've unblocked him for the moment, but would like to hear your comments.
@gryps75 I didn't unblock his/her previous account (guessing from the name), even though it was asked for in the forum: http://forum.status.net/discussion/1505/not-allowed-to-log-in#Item_128 !spamreport
@eriksteinmann flagging used to be a measure to report "bad" users to @support. As with all human interventions, it's not scalable to large communities. I personally think flagging is useless and (personally again) think that it's better to report spammy behaviour to the !spamreport group, where ModHelpers (like me) can be notified of users to #silence or unsilence. Sometimes it's debatable if an account should be silenced, but such cases are "discussed" amongst the group members.
@businessonline007 sending unrelated spam messages to a group is an extremely good way to get your account #silenced !spamreport.
would like to know what the members of !spamreport think of @careerist@identi.ca Should he stay silenced or not? He's been asking in the #StatusNet forum to be unblocked: http://is.gd/yFKgKT
doesn't have anything against disabled people, but thinks that 99.9% of these account could be automatically silenced: http://identi.ca/selftag/amputee !spamreport /cc @evan
@rootbrian thanks for reporting all these: http://cl.ly/DTwu I've #silenced them all. !spamreport ( @evan I still think Brian would be a great ModHelper!)
